Course Description:
This is a course in visual arts which focuses on enabling students to understand how art is created as a response to images, forms, and experiences; to understand the relationship among works of art, individuals and societies in which they are created; to develop the ability to create visual images and the skills and sensitivity to apply aesthetic criteria to works of art; and to understand the health and safety rules of the art room.
